Job Description

Purpose

Responsible for providing vision, leadership, planning, project coordination, and management for the development of a cost-effective team while concurrently facilitating efficient operations to meet current and future business needs within the global organization. Responsible for analyzing and directing all administrative activities within the scope of the International PVG operation team and managerial single point of contact for MCS PVG topics. Accountable for ensuring continuity and successful delivery of functional services throughout the global organization. Leading PVG specialists in Germany, Slovakia and elsewhere if required.

 

Key accountabilities

  • Functional leadership, goal setting and evaluation of PVG employees in Germany and Slovakia.
  • Active business development management and IT strategy of international PVG operation
  • Accountable for the forecasting and dynamic allocation of work across the team to ensure that team provides solutions in timely manner. Provides overall prioritization of work assignments, organizes team resources, and their activities.
  • Deliver services/solutions to counterparts and clients in agreed quality and quantity structure according agreed contracts (OLA, SLA, SA, DA…) and internal and global KPI.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with counterparts/clients and other stakeholders for effective communication.
  • Operationally manage critical situations and solve business-as-usual escalations related to PVG operation on international level and provide seamless operation and effective service.
  • Promotes proactive approaches to solve business needs/problems, negotiates priorities and support requirements of the international PVG team.
  • Plans, budgets and forecasts team needs. Maintains awareness of global organization plans and the potential impact of those plans on current and future functionality of PVG team. Have a direct impact on the forecast and planning business case.
  • Interacts and negotiates with 3rd party solution vendors for cost-effective service delivery. Serves as main contact between vendor and internal project teams on application implementations if needed.
  • Identifies requests and operation problems and manages the resolution with the international PVG team and development and project management teams.
  • Identifies training needs of the team and provides the necessary training to meet those needs.
  • Constantly communicates with business and project sides regarding additional demands in PVG cluster, for Germany and Slovakia, within Global TEL IT organization.

 

Management scope 

  • Actively support portfolio enhancement activities.
  • Managing of 25+ direct reports (AO,AM,AD) in various locations.
  • Plan and control the costs of 7.000.000€.
  • Reports to PVG Cluster responsible and Head of MCS SK.

Salary

Minimum monthly salary is 1200 € brutto + variable part of salary + other financial benefits. The final basic wage component can be adjusted accordingly to individual skills and experience of selected candidate.
