Responsible for the implementation of a Lead Generation Strategy/Business Development Plan for  Enterprise Cloud Services to identify and develop leads for new business sales team in T-Systems in the UK.

 

  • Implementation of a Business Development Strategy for lead generation focussed on the T-Systems portfolio for Managed Cloud Services to Enterprise customers in the UK marketplace.

 

  • Provide Leadership for lead generation across the Sales organisation and become a point of excellence for generating qualified leads within T-Systems UK.

 

  • In addition to generating their own leads take responsibility for for the existing lead generation agencies, ensuring that they are aware of the portfolio and representing T-Systems professionally and providing quality leads.

 

  • Responsible for ensuring we have maximum attendees for our bespoke events ie Business Breakfast, Panel events

 

  • Work in line with Marketing to ensure leads from events are activated and monitored

Budget for lead generation with external agencies

 

Key Accountabilities

 

  • Coherent Business Development Strategy for lead generation implementation plan across the IT Division in the UK
  • Sales familiarity and performance with Cloud Services
  • Create and maintain CRM database for sales and marketing

 

Key Challenges & Complexity

 

  • Adherence of and strategic programmes and portfolio from T-Systems International
  • T-Systems not known in UK market
  • Limited marketing budget

Work experience requirements

 

  • Proven record in lead generation
  • Able to communication at ‘C’ level
  • Business Development / Pre-sales role with demonstrable success.
  • Exceptional customer facing presentation skills, in a “selling capacity”, public speaking experience useful.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and report writing skills

Technical Requirements:

  • technology, concepts, solutions, use-cases and reference examples.

 

Desirable skills

  • Experience in outsourcing of IT Services and provision of Managed Cloud Services
  • Pre-sales / consultancy selling skills relevant and useful.

 

Qualifications:

  • Ideally a graduate in Business or Computing Science
  • Experience of working in different roles and technology functions
  • Computing Skills – High Proficiency
  • Microsoft Windows Office (especially Powerpoint)
  • CRM

      Skills & Experience Required:

       

      Technical Requirements:

      • Excellent “right-level” Technical knowledge and in-depth Enterprise Architecture level understanding of Cloud Services, Cloud technology, concepts, solutions, use-cases and reference examples.
      • Exceptional in-depth experience of at least one public cloud / hyperscale provider (e.g. Amazon, Microsoft Azure).
      • Openstack experience highly relevant.
      • Enterprise Architecture / Technical Architecture accreditations valued and useful.

       

      Individual experience:

      • Experience in a Cloud/Cloud Services Leadership role within an IT Services organisation or Cloud Provider ideally at an Enterprise Architect / Chief Technology Officer Level.  
      • Business Development / Pre-sales role with demonstrable success.
      • Project or Program Management – proven track record of implementing organisational, procedural or business change projects.

       

      Interpersonal Experience:

      • Exceptional customer facing presentation skills, ideally in a “selling capacity”, public speaking experience.
      • Strong interpersonal, communication and report writing skills.
      • Strong analytical skills.

       

      Education & Qualification

      • Ideally a graduate in Business or Computing Science
      • Any Cloud / Hyperscale Provider Certification useful
      • Experience of working in different roles and technology functions
      • Computing Skills – High Proficiency
      • Microsoft Windows Office (especially Powerpoint)
      • Ideally Six Sigma qualification
